About Via Ferrata Dolomiti Grossglockner 2022

WHERE WE GO?

In the Dolomites, the most spectacular corner of the Alps!

Curtain d`Ampezzo. Italy.

But that's after the ascent of Austria's highest peak, the Grossglockner!

WHAT ARE WE DOING THERE?

Via ferrata Dolomites / Chillin` out / A bit of hiking / Some history WW 1 Rafting Electric Mountain Biking / Winter mountaineering

Cortina d`Ampezzo sleeps between five Dolomite massifs and offers different landscapes every day. The Dolomites are also a UNESCO site!

All the activities are breathtaking!

They are also physically and technically graded according to group and may even be partially overlapping.

HOW DO WE GET THERE?

Flight to Vienna | Minibus tour | Return

WHERE WE GO?

First we stop in Styria and Carinthia, Austria, where we devote two electric days to mountain biking and rafting.

We then prepare and make the ascent of the Grossglockner, a not exactly difficult, but beautifully aerial and beautiful in good weather!

Cortina d`Ampezzo is our final destination where we take turns on via ferrata routes in the surrounding mountains - Cristallo, Tofane or Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

The routes are determined according to the experience of the group and the weather forecast; we have alternatives even for rainy days.

  1. TEO -

MIHAI MARES - I think that for Tre Cime, you should book a whole day, early in the morning, departure from Cortina, an early morning greeting from Lake Misurina, drive up to Rifugio Aurozo, breakfast from a cart and a coffee at Rifugio Lavaredo, which has very affordable prices, then pass through Forcella Lavaredo, on the north side, which is the most spectacular and return to Aurozo. It is worth paying the car tax for the route.
I went last summer, only the southern part, it filled the day and my camera card, because of the pandemic the car route was closed, I walked up from Lake Antorno. I'm still at the savings level. I would love to be with you ! Maybe we can exchange a few words at Wolf Valley.

    • Mares Mihail -

Thank you for the details, ne teodor.
We are waiting for you anytime in the Wolf Valley for a story!
