Why Kopaonik?
If for our friends in the west of the country Kopaonik is already a traditional ski destination, for those living in Bucharest and other parts of the country the destination has only recently reached their ears, that's right!
Well, Kopaonik is a kind of Bansko if you like, with spectacular scenery and slopes hidden in the forest, sheltered from the wind and easier to navigate in the fog.
The 55km of slopes are served by a dense network of 26 chairlifts and the topography means that some slopes remain lightly trafficked even during the busiest periods of the ski season.
The quality of the layout is wonderful, which allows working on the slopes with both beginners and advanced skiers in very good conditions.
Most of the slopes are blue and red, perfect for technical progress. There are also black slopes, including those approved for International Ski Federation competitions and will be the delight of the advanced group in camp.
For two sri we will extend our skiing until 9pm enjoying the three night-lit slopes.
Who are we?
We have been organising ski snowboard camps since 2003 for young and pre-school children, beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers.
The ski course lasts at least five hours a day, with lunch break and divided by value groups.
In each camp we have at least two different groups, so the little skier will get all the attention they deserve, starting from their technical level now.
Accommodation and meals
We chose AS Resort for our accommodation because of its location close to the Kraljevi Cardaci pool complex and grocery stores.
The transfer to the slopes takes 7 minutes and avoids the main ski area access facilities which tend to be crowded in the morning.
For lunch we'll stop at one of the restaurants on the slopes to save precious time and spend it gliding on skis rather than in restaurants further away from the slopes.
Accommodation is in en-suite quadruple rooms at the AS Resort, breakfast and dinner included.
Room assignments are made in order of registration.
Lunch costs on average 7-10 euros per person.
Ski program
Daily skiing according to the operating schedule of the facilities, maximising the time spent on snow
A 4-day ski pass and two evenings of night skiing are included in the camp fee.
Main instructors:
Mihai Mareș, ISIA category I instructor since 1997, over 10 years of continuous work with groups of children.
Sînziana Ioan, ISIA category II ski instructor since 2016, skis almost exclusively with schoolchildren and preschoolers.
Transport from the country:
We travel by minibus (e) on the route Brasov - Sibiu - Timisoara - Belgrade - Cacak - Kopaonik.
The route is 840 km long and covers a full day, with breaks to relax and a short tour of the centre of Belgrade.
The cost of transport is included in the cost of the camp.
CHILDREN
Children aged 10 - 16 years old with an advanced level of skiing are welcome - children must be able to do at least braked, controlled, plowed or parallel descents before coming to camp.
Child drop-off is on 22 December at 08.00 in the parking lot of Brasov train station.
The parents will pick up the child on 29 December at 20.00 at the same place.
Do you need ski lessons outside of camp for children or adults? We are waiting for you at
