Victoria Falls: You will have the opportunity to admire one of the Seven Wonders of the World in a special way: we will swim, explore and dine just below the 110 metres high Victoria Falls, a treat reserved only for those who choose to explore the Zambezi River on rafting tours!

WHAT ARE YOU COMING FOR?

 

SAFARI, altcumva 2 National Parks in Zambia:

Vă invităm la un walking safari de o jumătate de zi dar intens: da, mergem pe jos să vedem o familie de rinoceri albi :)   Ne vom apropia de cuirasatele preistorice până la 20 de metri, ”if today they are in good mood”!   Fără mașini și senzația de siguranță pe care o dau acestea, Africa sălbatică e dintr-o dată mult mai intensă…

We then explore Kafue , al doilea cel mai mare parc din Africa conform Wikipedia; e magnific de sălbatic, întins și populat cu mai toate vietățile savanei.   The Big Five sunt și ei aici (leopard, leu, bivol, hipopotam, rinocer) iar data trecută am primit chiar vizita unei familii de elefanți în zona de campare…

• Alocăm cinci zile traversării parcului Kafue, timp suficient ca să guști, miroși, înduri și începi să iubești Africa
• We go autonomously, with safari cars driven by us and NOT as in a Tanzanian safari with dozens of cars around the animals. We will be alone in the vastness of the savannah
• Self drive safari means adventure from one end to the other
• We cross 350 km of savannah through the Kafue Park choosing our own route, far from civilisation. In the evenings we camp in organised campsites with access to hot showers and campfires, and even a restaurant if we feel the need. We'll rarely meet self-sufficient explorers, like us, on the way; if we want, we'll have someone to socialise with in the evenings in the campsites.

VICTORIA WATERFALL (VICTORIA FALLS): ONE OF THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD!

• The largest waterfall in the world. The water falls from 108 m high into a narrow basalt canyon WHERE THE WATER FALLS (that's "Mosi O Tunya", the local name for Victoria Falls)!
• Pentru că suntem rafteri, vă vom asigura un tratament special: vom admira cascada și de sub ea, adică veți explora la pas impresionantul canion de sub cascadă. Vom înota la baza cascadei Victoria și vom lua prânzul tot acolo, admirând sălbăticia repezișurilor ”Minus” ce pot fi admirate doar de căître cei ce ajung aici cu barca!

RAFTING PE ZAMBEZI "the best single day rafting trip in the world"

• It's beyond anything you can imagine!!!
• Mountains of water! Waterfalls and rapids reaching the maximum intensity allowed for commercial rafting. That's hard work for the guides, for you it's just... the most intense adrenaline rush you've ever had.
• If you don't already know us, you should know that we, the Outdoor-Events.ro guides are the ones who drive the boats on the rivers. Sometimes together with local guides, friends of ours and local professionals, sometimes alone. Zambezi, although it's the Everest of the world's rivers, is no exception!
• Our guides spent 12 days on the Zambezi in 2016 guiding lap after lap on all 25 of The Big One's rapids, achieving the mandatory IRF Raft Guide Class IV qualification on rivers of the Zambezi's difficulty. You're in good hands!
• Even though it looks intimidating, the Zambezi is host to more than 10,000 rafting tourists every year, most of them for the first time in their lives.
• We'll have kayakers on the water filming every splash. In the evening you'll find it incredible that you were there :)

 

BUT WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT A SIMPLE RAFTING TRIP HERE. 

MULTI DAY RAFTING EXPEDITION ON THE BEST RIVER IN THE WORLD!

  59 km of rafting in two days:

• camping by the water on sandy beaches with dinner cooked over an open fire
• accommodation under the stars (don't forget, it's 30-38 degrees during the day, coolness at night is welcome!)
• the pace is relaxed, we have time to explore every bend of the river, to walk along the most spectacular lines, to film and photograph but also to enjoy the Batoka canyon in all its splendour without any time pressure
• partenerii noștri logistici locali pregătesc tabăra, gătesc și deschid barul cu băuturi la gheață așa încât seara e una greu de uitat

SUNSET CRUISE

  O dupămasă ne îmbarcăm în ”the Booze Cruise” cum alintă localnicii sau oficial, the Sunset Cruise: două ore de navigație pe  Zambezi în direcția soarelui ce apune, deasupra cascadei Victoria unde fluviul e cuminte. Cu barbecue și băuturi incluse. Navigăm cu un vaporaș cu toate facilitățile, într-un grup vesel, cu muzică și distracție la pachet, oprind în apropierea turmelor de elefanți sau hippo ce se îmbăiază la rândul lor. Retur la căderea nopții.

HUNTING

Noaptea din MULTIDAY RAFTING TRIP o vom petrece în saci de dormit, pe nisipul plajei. Temperaturile sunt foarte prietenoase, oricât de friguros ori friguroasă ai fi!   Serile din afara expediției de rafting MULTIDAY le petrecem pe terasa complexului The Waterfront, la malul lui Zambezi, privind elefanții și hipopotamii ori pândind un crocodil ce uneori își face rondul… chiar prin safari village.   Trei nopți vom petrece în corturi fixe 3 x 3 m, amplasate într-un safari village pe malul lui Zambezi (paturi cu saltele, curent electric, ventilator, acces la piscina, terasă, restaurant). Suntem la 10 minute distanță de orașul Livingstone și 10 minute de cascada Victoria (distanțe auto). De pe terasă apusul e magnific, iar râul e punctat cu elefanți, hipopotami și crocodili. Locația de cazare e THE WATERFRONT ADVENTURE VILLAGE. Sunt disponibile și opțiuni de upgrade.

On safari, we use tents mounted on the roofs of off-road vehicles to explore the savannah. They are spacious, comfortable, easy to pitch and off the ground.

MONTH

În safari ne vom găti singuri, la foc deschis (mașinile vor fi utilate cu tot ce avem nevoie).   În rafting trip mesele le pregătesc, proaspăt, camarazii noștri locali de echipă.   Zilele petrecute în Livingstone au mese în regim de restaurant, cu mic dejun inclus.

CARS

Ne deplasăm cu mașini de teren pregătite și utilate special pentru safari – pe lângă echipamentul specific de campare, mașinile au dotări speciale pentru condusul pe teren accidentat.   Mașinile au fiecare loc pentru 4 persoane cu tot cu șofer și sunt de tip Toyota (Landcruiser, Hilux Surf, etc) sau Isuzu Double Cab.   Fiecare mașină are frigider electric, sobă pentru gătit, echipament de campare pentru patru persoane și un întreg arsenal de ustensile de gătit.

We operate the MULTIDAY expedition together with the strongest possible local partner in Africa - Safpar.

Echipamentul are calitate bună, ghizii sunt licențiați internațional și am vâslit, cărat echipament și râs sănătos cot la cot cu ei zile întregi. Vom ghida împreună pe Zambezi, ghizi de rafting români și localnici deopotrivă.

LOGISTICS

We start with a minimum of six. The programme may be subject to departure date adjustments depending on the most convenient flights. The ground programme may also be subject to adjustments in favour of the participants if certain activities have to be modified for insurmountable reasons.
