Full Moon SUP is an unforgettable adventure!

SUP - Stand Up Paddle - here's what it's all about, HERE

I mean a steady board, a long paddle, a glistening lake under a full moon and... your sweetheart a hand's length away.
Or a few fellow adventurers willing to share some of nature's greatness with you.
 
A floating mini-bar is moored on the lake with Prosecco on ice, discreet candles and a hot drink if you feel the chills. The romantic kind, of course.
 
You get all the equipment from us plus instruction, car transfer to/from Arca Rafting Camp, open mini-bar (Prosecco, Aperol Spritz or non-alcoholic Mojito, Paddler`s Tea (hot drink. Only available if it`s cold!).

Equipment includes a neoprene wetsuit, neoprene footwear, flotation vest, safety lighting system, SUP board and paddle.

The adventure takes place under the soft light of the moon but also under the supervision of our instructors for your safety. Paddling and privacy distances will be slightly limited.

We recommend you to stay at Arca or at the Valea Lupului guesthouse, so that after the tour you can come back to the warmth of the dormitory or keep us company around the campfire. If you've already chosen one of the many accommodation options available in the Buzau Valley we'll see you directly at the lakeside at the agreed time.
 
The duration of the adventure is two hours on the lakeside and requires no previous experience.
 
The programme is restricted to 12 seats for privacy and safety reasons. Swimming skills are recommended.
 

Full Moon SUP is held with a minimum of four registrants.

Disclaimer:

The appearance of the moon is of course the spectacle without which this tour consumes much of its charm!

In case of cloudy weather we are forced to cancel the tour, following a phone discussion with you.

Please also keep in mind that nights with a Full Moon or Moon in a phase bright enough for our purposes are few and... don't necessarily fall on a weekend.

Also bear in mind that the Moon will be at different heights above the horizon and will be visible at different times of the night, depending on the period chosen.

So choose one of the available nights in our calendar (all have sufficient visibility) but we invite you to check the Moon phases BEFORE completing your booking to get exactly what you want.

 If you arrive early on your chosen day we can fill the time very actively with Rafting on the River Buzăuwith electric MTB through UNESCO Geopark Buzau County or with a day shift in kayak or SUP. The choice is yours!

ACCOMMODATION

You can camp at our Arca Rafting Camp.

You get a parking space, tent site, access to toilets, showers, fire pit and a barbecue if you want to cook something over an open fire.

The restaurant (and guesthouse) Valea Lupului is 400 m away.
