Why Kopaonik?

If for our friends in the west of the country Kopaonik is already a traditional ski destination, for those living in Bucharest and other parts of the country the destination has only recently reached their ears, that's right!

Well, Kopaonik is a kind of Bansko if you like, with spectacular scenery and slopes hidden in the forest, sheltered from the wind and easier to navigate in the fog. The 55km of slopes are served by a dense network of 26 chairlifts and the topography means that some slopes remain lightly trafficked even during the busiest periods of the ski season.

The quality of the layout is marvellous, which allows both beginners and advanced skiers to work on the slopes in very good conditions.

Most runs are blue and red, perfect for technical progress. There are also black runs, including those approved for International Ski Federation competitions, which will delight the advanced group at the camp.

Accommodation and meals

We chose Stara Bacija for our accommodation because of its location in a quiet area with easy access to the Zoned, Milmari or Kraljevi swimming pools and grocery shops.

The transfer to the slopes takes 7 minutes and avoids the main ski lifts, which tend to be crowded in the morning. For lunch we'll stop at one of the restaurants on the slopes to save precious time and spend it gliding on skis rather than in restaurants further away from the slopes. Accommodation is in en-suite triple or quad rooms with breakfast included.

Places are allocated in the order of enrolment. Lunch costs on average 7-15 euro per person. Dinner costs €7-10 per person.

Ski pass-ul pentru 5 zile și două seri de nocturnă este inclus în tariful taberei.   Cursul de schi durează cel puţin cinci ore pe zi, cu pauză de prânz şi împărțiți pe grupe valorice.   În fiecare tabără avem cel puţin două grupe diferite, deci micul schior va primi toată atenţia care i se cuvine, începând de la nivelul său tehnic de acum.   Pentru că tematica taberei e centrată pe schi (sau snowboard) valorificăm la maxim timpul pe pârtie cu succesiuni de elemente tehnice.

Nu lăsăm însă distracția acasă căci copiii sunt în vacanță! Le pregătim tips, tricks, competiții clasice sau inedite, precum și un test de alunecare, cu premii, pentru finalul taberei.  

Main instructors:

We have been organising ski snowboard camps since 2003 for pre-school, school, beginner, intermediate and advanced students.

Mihai Mareș, ISIA category I instructor since 1997, over 10 years of continuous work with groups of children.   Sînziana Ioan, ISIA category II ski instructor since 2016, skis almost exclusively with schoolchildren and preschoolers.

Transport from the country:

We travel by minibus (e) on the route Brasov - Sibiu - Timisoara - Belgrade - Cacak - Kopaonik. The route is 840 km long and covers a full day, with breaks to relax and a short tour of the centre of Belgrade. The cost of transport is included in the cost of the camp.

CHILDREN

Sunt bineveniți copiii cu vârstă de 10 – 18 ani cu nivel de schi inițiat – copiii trebuie să poată face cel puțin coborâri frânate, controlate, în plug sau paralele înainte de a veni în tabără.   Predarea copilului se face pe 4 ianuarie 2025  la ora 08.00, în parcarea Gării Brașov.   Preluarea copilului de către părinți se face pe 10Rafting BuzauRafting BuzauRafting BuzauRafting Buzau ianuarie la ora 20.00, în același loc.  

Numărul minim de copii este de 6 iar dacă acesta nu se completează vi se returnează integral sumele depuse.
